Robust and economical: Sealing concepts for chemical pulp production

In chemical pulp production, wood chips are chemically pulped under the effects of pressure and temperature. The sulphate process has become the popularly established method of pulp production in the world. Wood chips are digested in an alkaline sodium salt solution to remove the lignin from the wood.
